Inception

Anugrah Memorial  College, one of the renowned Constituent unit of Magadh University, Bodh-Gaya has covered a long eventful journey since its inception in the year 1964. As it enters its Golden Jubilee year, the establishment of A. M. College (B.Ed. Unit)   , the first ever B. Ed. unit in a constituent college of Magadh University is yet another illustrious milestone in the annals of academic history of the region. An institute beffitingly christened after the legendary Bihar Vibhuti Dr. Anugrah Narayan Singh, one of the architects of modern independent Bihar, its campus is spread over an area of 23 acres of land in the epicentre of Gaya town, spread over an area of 23 acres of land in the epicentre of Gaya town, located at a convenient distance from administrative, cultural, business and educational hub of the city. It is situated in a lush green and pollution & noise-free atmosphere. A symbol of enlightenment, sublimity and compassion , Gaya is the administrative headquarter of Magadh Division of Bihar. It was in the year 2010, that the honourable Principal of A. M. College (B.Ed. Unit) Dr. (Prof.) Arjun Prasad Singh conceptualized setting up of the first ever B. Ed. unit in a constituent college of Magadh University. It was an uphill task considering several challenges and financial constraints , however the sheer determination and unparalleled spirit of the A. M. College (B.Ed. Unit) family helped in turning the concept into reality.
